Location

Situated 55km from Cullulleraine in the Murray Sunset National Park is Lake Wallawalla capable of holding up to 16000ML.

Requirements

To deliver 8000ML of environmental water from the Lind­say River to Lake Wallawalla.

  • 1 26 inch centrifugal pump driven through a marine drive gearbox by a caterpillar common rail diesel engine.
  • 1 10000 liter fuel storage fully double bunded.
  • 1 mace water meter.
  • 1: 26 inch T screen.
  • 16 meters of 28 in ch suction line.
  • 200 meters of 26 inch delivery line.
  • 1 adaptor to join delivery line onto regulator structure.
  • 1 Adcon telemetry unit giving real time monitoring with data logging back to a hosted website.
  • Services provided: site inspection with Mallee CMA staff discussing any cultural heritage issues and any other environmental considerations.
  • Coordination of traffic management plan.
  • Coordination of construction of earthworks.
  • Designing a safety management plan.
  • Monitoring of wetlands.
  • Refueling, servicing and maintenance of pumps.
  • Regulation of flows to suit timelines.
