Environmental water delivery to stop formation of acid sulphates in Lake Albert

To deliver water to Lake Albert from Alexandrina rates up to 1000megs a day

Pump setup was designed to suit the specific site. The pumps where run 24hrs a day all maintenance and refueling was carried out by Millewa pumping staff.
The Mace Agriflow water meters were connected to all 7 pumps and monitored by an Adcon telemetry system, giving real-time monitoring with data logging back to a hosted website.
Equipment Used
- 7 x End centrifugal 26″ pump, direct driven by Caterpillar diesel engine, skid mounted and fixed to steel sheet piling wit 710mm still piping.
- 3 Mace Agriflow water meters with Doppler sensors, and sdi12 output to an Adcon telemetry unit logging all data back to a website.
- 7 x 45-degree elbows.
- 7 x 38-degree elbows.
- 7 x 90-degree elbows.
- 7 x one-way trap doors.
- 7 x 12m lengths 710mm steel pipe.
- 7 x 8m suction line 710mm steel pipe.
- 7 x 710mm tee screens.
- 14000L fuel storage.
